Dr. Teng Xu did his Ph.D. work at Texas A&M, and have been working in heterogeneous catalysis field for 15+ years. His research focuses on process development involving zeolites, supported metal catalysts & hydroprocessing catalysts. Currently he is a program leader in the Global Chemical Research of ExxonMobil Chemical. He has 20+ journal publications & 50+ patent/patent applications. Previously He served as director for Chinese American Chemical Society (CACS) – Tristate section while He was at ExxonMobil Corporate Research in Clinton, New Jersey. (LinkedIn)

Zhun received his B.S. in Chemical Engineering from Tsinghua University in 2009, and is currently a Ph.D. candidate in Chemical Engineering at Rice University, Houston. Zhun's research focuses on colloidal and heterogeneous catalysis for biomass/biofuel upgrading, hydrogen generation/storage, kinetics modeling and reactor design.
